Begging is considered one of the widespread global issues, although it is usually a topic that brings feelings of helping the begging person, but it is important to combat begging and limit its spread and deal with it with empathy and desire to understand the factors that push this person to beg, and these factors include poverty, as the lack of education and lack of job opportunities may enter this person into the circle of poverty from which it is difficult to exit, which leaves him no way out except begging, and begging may worsen because of the bad effects associated with drug use and mental health decline, in addition to lack of shelter and instability.

Giving money to beggars without any research into why they are begging may perpetuate their issues, especially if the money is used for destructive habits such as drugs or alcohol. In such cases, providing food, clothing, hygiene, or support services may be better for them.
