Trimming a PowerPoint video

Cut a video using PowerPoint

1. List Inserts > Select video > computer video Then select the video clip you want to edit. .
1- Insert menu > Choose Video > Video on Computer, then select the video clip you want to edit. .
2- Once you select the video, a new menu will appear, which is the menu Operating options Click on it, then tap Video clipping.

3- To specify where you want to edit the video clip, in the video trimming window, press the Play button. When you reach the point where you want to trim, click the Pause button. You can use the green and red markers to adjust the audio trimming point as follows:
  • To truncate the beginning of the clip, click the green marker on the left side and when the cursor turns into a double-headed arrow, drag it to the new starting position of the audio clip.
  • To truncate the beginning of the clip, click the red marker on the right side and when the cursor turns into a double-headed arrow, drag it to the new starting position of the audio clip.

Saving the video in PowerPoint

Once you have finished editing the video, you can save it to your computer using one of the following three methods:
  • Select the video clip on the slide, then right-click on it and select Save Media As… Then enter a name and location to save the file on your computer, then select Save.
  •  Or, if there is no content in the presentation other than the video, you can save it from the menu. File > Select Save as Then choose MP4
Alternatively, if the presentation contains no content other than video, you can save it from the File menu > Save As, then select MP4.
  • Or from the File > Select menu export Then select Create Video > Select Accuracy Then select Creating a video
Or from the File menu > Export > Create Video > Resolution > Create Video
