How to merge PowerPoint presentation files into one file

Merging PowerPoint files (First method) 

  • Main strip> Arrow Below a new slide
  • Choosing Reusing the slides
                               
  • Choosing review
  • Locate the presentation file containing the slides you want.
  • To add all slides, right-click and then select Include all slides
                             
  • To add a single slide, click on the slide to add it.
  • If you want the slide you add to retain its original formatting, check the "Keep source formatting" box before adding the slides.
                            

 

Merging PowerPoint files (Second method) 

  • Select the slides in the file containing the slides you want to copy.
  • Press CTRL and then click on each slide you want to select.
  • Right-click on the selected slides, then click copies

  • Switch to current view
  • Right-click in the Slides Browse pane
  •  Click Using the destination format To match the format of the copied slides with the current display format

  • If you want the slide you add to retain its original formatting
  • Right-click in the Slides Browse pane and select Preserve source formatting So that the slide retains its original format and not the current display format.

 

Merging PowerPoint files (Third method) 

  • Select the text, shape, or image you want to use as a hyperlink to another PowerPoint file.
  • List Inserts> Select Hyperlink

  • Choosing Existing file or web page
  • Locate the PowerPoint file containing the slides you want to navigate to during the presentation.

  • You can also navigate to a specific slide in another PowerPoint file by selecting Bookmark > Select desired slide

  • Important note: If you create a link to a file on your computer and then transfer the PowerPoint presentation to another computer, you will also need to transfer any linked files.
